Osama was shot, oh no!

I am getting a little sick and tired of the controversy that has erupted following the death of Osama. I’ve heard many seemingly compelling arguments regarding whether or not we, the people of the United States, should be celebrating this as a victorious occasion, as an extension of our nationalism. Come on people, really? Osama Bin laden has directly caused the deaths of thousands of men, women, and possibly children in our country — he deserves to die. Another “compelling” argument that I was faced with, was whether or not our shooting of Bin laden was justified, and that we should have taken a more democratic approach to the situation through trial by jury. Honestly, I really just don’t care. I do not feel the need to extend the realms of civilized democracy to such a criminal, and do not think that this makes our country look any worse by doing so. In my opinion, his death was a victory, to others, you’ll live another day.
